INTRODUCTION

National Hydrographic Office (NHO) publishes annual tide tables which provide tidal predictions for Karachi Port, Muhammad Bin Qasim Port (Entrance & Pipiri), Gwadar Port, Ormara, Pasni, and Hajambro Creek. This table is arranged in three parts:

Part-I: Contains daily predictions of the times and heights of high and low waters and hourly heights.

Part-II: Contains harmonic constants, which can be used for prediction by the Simplified Harmonic Method of Tidal Prediction. Seasonal variations in Mean Sea Level are also included in this part.

Part-III: Contains Datum, Prediction Summaries, Tidal Statistics and Levels at major and minor ports/ harbours/ entrances.
