COURSE FOR CPOs/ SAILORS

Navigation & Hydrography school is conducting basic, mid career and advance courses for CPOs/Sailors. The school has suitable number of adequately trained and experienced instructors (officers and CPOs) to conduct professional courses for CPOs/Sailors of survey branch. These courses have been designed to include modern techniques in hydrography to provide practical comprehension of hydrographic surveying for individuals with the skill to carryout various hydrographic surveying tasks.

  • BASIC SURVEY TECHNICIAN COURSE FOR SAILORS (ST/ UT CLASS)

    • The course is designed for junior sailors for basic acquaintance with the hydrography field. Duration of this course is 26 weeks.

  • MID LEVEL SURVEY TECHNICIAN COURSE FOR SAILORS (LST ‘Q’ CLASS)

    • It’s a mid career course with the duration of 13 weeks. The course is designed to enhance the skills of senior Survey Technician.

  • HIGHER LEVEL SURVEY ARTIFICER COURSE FOR SAILORS (SUA –IV ‘Q’ CLASS)

    • The course is designed to enhance the skills of Leading Survey Technician for their advancement to Survey Artificer. Duration of this course is 18 weeks.

  • ADVANCE SURVEY ARTIFICER COURSE FOR CPOs (CSUA ‘Q’ CLASS)

    • The course is designed for Chief petty officer for their capacity building to perform task of survey planning and execution. Duration of this course is 08 weeks.
